We all know thas we use to bathe, brush our teeth and flush them. Well, here is news that will change your views of the environment around you. The National Institute of Health, a government organization known for conducting medical research, found in its recent study that the common contaminants found in tap water of different parts of the world are not only hazardous to health, but harmful to the environment as well. The findings of the study shocked people since one would think that water from different countries would have very little effects on each other. So what chemicals are in NIC salts?

According to the National Institute of Health, the most common chemicals found so far in the samples were potassium, sodium, chloride, bromide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, phosphorus and iodine. The two salt substitutes commonly used in Pakistan, however, did not feature in the list. This may sound strange since most of the water treatment methods used by Pakistanis are based on the use of salt and therefore, it is 10ml salt nic in pakistan assumed that drugs found in the samples would have come from drugs used in the treatment. However, the situation is different when we consider the way the drugs are carried along with the water. Since the drugs are dissolved in the water, it follows that wherever there is a water supply, there will be a possibility of drugs present in the water. The situation becomes more alarming if we are to consider the number of people using water from different regions across the country.

If this recent discovery is true, then it means that anyone using any form of water without a filtering system is risking his or her life. Although no one has died from drinking tainted water yet, this revelation makes one wonder what chemicals are in NIC salts, and how vulnerable we are when water is passing through them. The answer might lie in the National Industrial Chemicals Information Act of 1980. This acts as a general mandate for all factories to keep their working areas clean and safe from the dangers of harmful chemicals. If our government would ever feel that we are vulnerable due to the presence of such chemical compounds in our water, then perhaps we should begin to filter our water ourse
