An inhibitor of phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) is called Zhewitra 60. Men with erectile dysfunction are treated with it. It functions by relaxing the muscles in the penile blood arteries, which increases blood flow to the penis and facilitates erections. Zhewitra 60 should ideally be taken at a set time, but it can be taken with or without food. Zhewitra 60 shall be taken with a full glass of water before any sexual intercourse with or without food. However, taking the medication without food maximizes its effectiveness.
