Filitra is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. Its active ingredient is vardenafil, a PDE5 inhibitor that increases blood flow to the penis, helping to achieve and maintain an erection during sexual stimulation.
While Filitra is effective when taken as needed (typically 30 to 60 minutes before sexual activity), its safety for daily use depends on the dose, individual health status, and medical guidance. In general, Filitra is not intended for daily use unless specifically prescribed in a low-dose version by a healthcare provider.
Daily use of high-dose vardenafil can increase the risk of side effects, such as headache, flushing, nasal congestion, dizziness, upset stomach, and in rare cases, more serious issues like vision changes, low blood pressure, or priapism (a prolonged, painful erection).
Men with chronic conditions like heart disease, liver or kidney impairment, or those taking nitrates or certain blood pressure medications, should avoid using FILITRA without close medical supervision.
Filitra is generally not recommended for daily use unless prescribed in a low dose by a doctor. Always consult a healthcare provider before using ED medications regularly to ensure safety, proper dosing, and monitoring of potential side effects or interactions.
