Grace Cares Initiative Inc believes that health is a human right, not a privilege. Born from one man’s vision to improve the lives of his fellow Liberians, it has blossomed into a powerful mission in Liberia. Operating a 75-bed facility, Grace Cares offers comprehensive health services—ranging from routine outpatient care and wound treatment to emergency admissions, free surgeries, and maternal and child health programs. No patient is ever turned away for lack of funds. Their compassionate medical staff treat every individual with dignity, respect, and empathy, ensuring that vulnerable communities receive care regardless of their economic situation.
Beyond clinical services, Grace Cares is deeply invested in preventive health and community empowerment. Their outreach programs teach hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and maternal health to transform not just the patient but the broader population. The organization is driven by personal stories of hardship and hope—its founder, Francis B. Akoi, was orphaned amidst civil conflict and resolved to build a healing institution to fill the gaps he once experienced. Through partnerships, donations, and dedicated volunteers, Grace Cares continues to expand its capacity, strengthen Liberia’s health infrastructure, and restore hope to thousands, one life at a time.
