Vidalista is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. Its active ingredient is Tadalafil, which belongs to the class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Vidalista works by relaxing blood vessels in the penis, increasing blood flow during sexual arousal, which helps achieve and maintain an erection. Key features of Vidalista: Duration: Unlike Sildenafil (Fildena or Cenforce), Tadalafil can last up to 36 hours, earning it the nickname “the weekend pill.” Dosage forms: Commonly Vidalista in 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, and even 40 mg tablets. Lower doses (2.5–5 mg) can also be used daily for men who prefer spontaneous sexual activity. Usage: Usually taken orally, 30 minutes before sexual activity. It can be taken with or without food. Precautions: Vidalista should not be taken with nitrates or certain heart medications, as this can cause dangerous drops in blood pressure. Side effects may include headache, back pain, muscle aches, flushing, or indigestion. Age recommendation: Vidalista is generally prescribed for adult men above 18 years, with careful consideration for older men or those with heart, kidney, or liver conditions.
