Surya Bhedana Pranayama procedure involves controlled breathing through the right nostril to activate the solar energy channel, known as Pingala Nadi. To begin, sit comfortably in a meditative posture with the spine erect and body relaxed. Close the left nostril using the ring finger and inhale slowly and deeply through the right nostril. After completing the inhalation, gently close the right nostril with the thumb and exhale through the left nostril in a smooth and controlled manner. This completes one round of Surya Bhedana Pranayama. Practicing this procedure regularly helps increase body heat, improve digestion, boost energy levels, and enhance mental clarity when done with awareness and proper guidance.
