Fildena Super Active inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE5). This enzyme plays a key role in regulating blood flow in the penis. Under normal conditions, PDE5 breaks down a chemical messenger called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which is responsible for relaxing smooth muscle tissue and allowing blood vessels to widen.
FILDENA SUPER ACTIVE contains sildenafil citrate, a well-known PDE5 inhibitor. By blocking the action of the PDE5 enzyme, sildenafil prevents the breakdown of cGMP. As a result, higher levels of cGMP remain active in the penile tissues during sexual stimulation. This leads to prolonged smooth muscle relaxation, improved blood flow to the penis, and a stronger, longer-lasting erection.
It is important to note that Fildena Super Active does not cause an erection on its own. Sexual arousal is still necessary to trigger the release of nitric oxide, which starts the cGMP process. The medication simply enhances and supports the body’s natural erectile response.
Because PDE5 is also present in other parts of the body, inhibition can cause side effects such as headache, flushing, nasal congestion, or dizziness. For safety, Fildena Super Active should not be combined with nitrates or used without medical guidance, especially in men with heart conditions.
