I’m new to international package forwarding, and my biggest fear is paying for shipping from Australia to the US only to open the box and find the wrong item or something damaged. I’ve been reading about jetkrate, and one feature that stands out is their photography service that provides visual confirmation of your items before they dispatch anything.
The way I understand it: You send your Australian online store orders to your personal Jetkrate address. Before you choose forwarding options like consolidation or repacking, you can request photos of your actual items. You get to see colors, sizes, condition, and quantities. Only after you confirm does Jetkrate proceed with shipping. That seems like a huge peace-of-mind feature, especially for expensive or hard-to-find products.
Jetkrate also lets you manage everything else—customs declarations, insurance coverage, delivery options, and even shopping concierge support if a store won’t take your payment. They ship from Australia to key global destinations including the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, India, China, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and France. I’m in the US, so that works perfectly.
But is the photo service actually high quality? Do they show multiple angles? Is there an extra fee per image? And does getting photos significantly delay the shipping process? I want speed and security, but also transparency. If you’ve used Jetkrate’s photography service, please let me know if it’s worth the cost. Thanks!
