The size 4x6 photo is perfect for sending across the country with memories from your travels, your family, or personal photos for printing. It's small enough to fit in a photo mailer or a greeting card. When mailing several prints together, or to a destination that might require a rigid backing or a suitable envelope with a photo envelope, to prevent bending, an extra space for protection should be provided where possible, as recommended by Visuals Clipping. When the image is particularly precious select packaging that will protect it from moisture, scratches and creasing.
